A little about this project
IBEW Local 613 in Atlanta, Georgia, is considered a large Local, with more than 5,000 members and a jurisdiction that covers more than half the Peach State. The public-facing website needed to do a lot – providing an extensive list of services – but the primary focus would be communicating with and serving the membership. At the direction of the Local Union leadership, the new site also needed to make a bold statement – a powerful first impression – indicative of the Local’s position as a leader in not only Georgia but the entire southeastern United States. The completed project can be found at www.ibew613.org/. Various services that Local 613 members need on a regular basis are only one or two clicks away. Information about the Local and how to become a member are also easy to find, and access to an online store to buy Local 613 merchandise is easy to find. The vibrant videos and images complement a user-friendly design as the site functions seamlessly on computers, tablets and cell phones.
