IBEW Local 5 – 125th Anniversary

A little about this project

IBEW Local 5 in Pittsburgh was the first Local Union to seek the assistance of BMA Media Group to produce two milestone anniversary events – Their 100th Anniversary and, more recently, their 125th Anniversary in September 2022. The BMA Events Team provided our usual turnkey services helping Local 5 with every element of the event, from the initial set-up through all the evening’s production. While it’s too lengthy a list to include here, it included finding a venue, securing hotel room blocks, negotiating the food and beverage, contracting the entertainment and speakers, assisting with member RSVP, designing and acquiring the anniversary giveaways and completing the research and writing Local 5’s complete 125-year history published in a commemorative book and companion video. It truly became a unique evening for the IBEW members who attended both the 100th and 125th-anniversary events, but just a special (and a point of pride) was the fact that many of the BMA Team handling Local 5’s event were also on hand in the late 90s for the 100th event.
