During the week of the IBEW’s Ninth District Business Managers Conference in Las Vegas, IBEW Local 357 has contracted BMA Media to produce a retirement celebration event for its former – and formative – leader, David R. Jones.
The LINQ Hotel and Casino, a central location on the Las Vegas Strip, was chosen by Local 357 as the perfect setting for such an occasion due to Jones’ pivotal role in organizing the hotel’s longtime non-union workers during his fruitful tenure as business manager.
Approximately 350 guests are expected to attend the February 2024 event that will celebrate Jones’ successes with a cocktail reception, followed by a sit-down dinner with light entertainment and a program of speakers, all planned and designed by the BMA Special Events Team.
BMA is looking forward to creating a memorable event for the retiring IBEW Ninth District International Representative, moving forward with a logo and invitation design, sponsorship sales and the research and writing of a tribute book in honor of his storied career and life thus far.
Turn-key event production from start to finish
The retirement celebration for David Jones, hosted by his former Local Union, will require BMA’s special event services to handle all contracts to be signed for the space, including catering at the LINQ.
BMA will also handle all RSVP tracking, as well as hiring entertainment, creating a commemorative video, coordinating speakers and designing video and sponsor screens.
